New gearbox a mid-season risk

Force India's chief technical officer Mike Gascoyne has admitted that introducing a new gearbox mid-season is a risk. Force India will become the last team to adopt a seamless shift 'box at this weekend's European GP at Valencia. However, the Englishman feels it is a necessary risk to take in order to try and keep up with the pace of development of the larger teams.
