Europe: Lap by lap as Massa rules in Valencia

Ahead of today's all-important qualifying session, the air temperature is 26°C, while the track temperature is 30°C. Although temperatures are not as high as expected, it is bright and sunny with the dark clouds that hovered overhead at the end of free practice having now moved on.
