Fuji Speedway makes its second appearance in as many years on the Formula One calendar on Sunday 12th October for the Japanese Grand Prix. The first leg of the Japan - China double header and the last of the three back-to-backs this season, Fuji opened for business as a racing venue in 1963 and hosted the first ever Japanese Grand Prix in 1976 only for the track to be removed from the calendar after only two races having been deemed too dangerous.
