Williams 10th & 12th in opening Japanese practice

The AT&T Williams team would see its drivers finish 10th & 12th in the opening practice for the 2008 Japanese Grand Prix. Kazuki Nakajima would finish ahead of team-mate Nico Rosberg in a session that saw both drivers outside the top ten for most of the session. Kazuki was only able to move from slowest to tenth in the final minutes of the session. Fastest was Hamilton from Massa.
