No discussions with FOTA, and Moseley's dictatorial replacement is going to impose his will on the sport.

That was always going to be the result when Todt inherited Moseley's throne!

Nothing changes!

What a waste of time! It does not award the win any more or less than the previous system. with the change from 10 to 25 points for a win the factor of change is 2.5 times. So using the previous gap of 2points from 1st to 2nd, if we multiply that by 2.5 it equals 5, the exact same gap from 1st to 2nd with the new system, just a different number.

The points system should be 1st 30points; 2nd 15points; 3rd 10points; 4th 8points; 5th 6points; 6th 4points; 7th 2points and 8th 1point.

Points wise:
Two second places equals a win
Three third places equals a win

This way the driver who wins is duly rewarded for the achievement and forces a driver sitting in 2nd place to really have to go for it if they want the championship. Something Bernie was trying to achieve with the medal system. The new system permits the driver to just sit back for the entire season being mr. consistent and boring collecting 2nd and 3rd's and taking the title.

All the previous changes were simply an FIA... read more »
