Feb.13 Fernando Alonso managed to brighten Ferrari's spirits before the end of the opening test of the 2012 Formula 1 season.
His best time in Friday's proceedings was set with soft tyres and still shy of the promising Lotus' earlier pace, but it nonetheless triggered sighs of relief within the Maranello ranks after a troubled early start.

The set up of the car is at 20%, that leaves 80% of work to be done on improving the F2012 with just 2 tests left. This kind of pressure on every F1 team is why they have the Constructors Championship. I hope for this season that Alonso and Massa will win both the WDC and WCC for Ferrari.
