I am thinking about going to Barcelona this year and I wonder if any one has been there or knows whether it is possible to get WiFi at the track. I tried searching the web but I only ended up with links to 10.000 hotels with WiFi. I am not gonna watch the race from the hotel... :eusa_think:

Bevonius, just like you I googled it. My guess is that they don't provide any WiFi services as the official site makes no mention about it, something they would have probably done if they had it.

Good plan sir, in-race entertainment for when the boredom inevitable starts at a place like Barcelona.

:D Well, considering how boring the Bahrain race was I should perhaps bring a DVD to watch instead.

No, actually the purpose is to live blog about a GP2 driver to his fans.

Barcelona is usually a borefest. Nothing to do with 2010 regulations. Tilke?

This past years there was no Wifi connection available to the public, but you can access a 3G network from the circuit.

Ok, I hope Telefonica has some 3G week subscription, I won't dare using my mobile internet with roaming. THAT could be an expensive weekend...

Could be worse. Could be Valencia. The only thing that has in common with Monaco is zero overtaking. Unlike Monaco though, it isn't in the slightest bit as exciting.

Well, at least in the time that F1 has been visiting Barcelona there has been some exciting races, espacially in the wet. Valencia has not yet delivered an exciting race in the 2 years we've been there. Oh well, suppose good things come to those who wait.

Why do you think it's down the drain? I haven't found any alternative, the best I can find is from Vodafone. They offer data and voice in one SIM so I can use it both in the phone and the USB dongle. 1 Mbit upstream and 3 Mbit downstream up to 1 GB, pre-paid, one week.
